Make your Mark Mural Painting in Chesterfield, MO June 4, 2011 The highly anticipated Make your Mark Mural Project in Chesterfield, MO is scheduled for this weekend, June 4th 10 AM to 4 PM. Chesterfield Arts has set the stage with community partners to create a lasting 500-foot mural on the Monarch-Chesterfield levee floodwall in the heart of the Chesterfield Valley at Edison and Baxter Roads. This is a community painting event that is free and family friendly. There is no need to bring paint or brushes –they will be provided. Additionally, there is no need for artistic experience. Chesterfield Arts will provide a paint by number pattern – you are needed to paint! The rain date is June 11. This will be a fun event with art activities, food vendors and youth bands. This is also an opportunity to help bring a smile back to the Joplin community. Drop off gently used or new art supplies at the Chesterfield Arts Information Tent on Saturday, June 4 AND at the Gallery throughout the entire summer! All art supplies will be delivered to the schools in Joplin before the 2011 - 2012 school year starts! What a great way to help our Joplin neighbors! Interested in helping?
