Chesterfield, MO Mural Project Day was a huge success!

The Chesterfield, MO Make your Mark Mural Day on Saturday, June 4 was a huge success. The Monarch-Chesterfield Levee flood wall was painted with an elaborate mural of scenes from around the area – current as well as historic themes. It was painted with spirit and turned out to be a real tribute to the citizens of Chesterfield, our rich history and culture as well as the creative talents of Chesterfield Arts. It was truly the culmination of a year of planning by chesterfield Arts. The 500 foot section of flood wall was painted by hundreds of volunteers who lined up to help despite sweltering heat and high humidity.
