i JUST did this and it worked out great. I added the widget to the bottom of my testimonials section. There are many different styles and flash versus html.
Twitter Widget DIY...
1. Logon to twitter- you should be at your main home page.
2. Go Settings and under "more info URL" there is a link in parenthesis that says (you can add twitter to your home page)
3. At this point you can add your widget to any of the more popular social networking and blog sites here, or if you select "other" you can create your own HTML code that you will then insert into your profile (which is what I did for ActiveRain)
4. I chose the "flash" and then "interactive" widgets. go through the set up and get the HTML code.
5. Edit your profile on ActiveRain- scroll down to "testimonials"
6. change the view to the HTML source so you can see the code.
7. Paste it at the end. I put mine before the </P> but I am not an HTML guru by any means so you might play around with it on your end.
Best of luck.
I am always open to followers on twitter- find me @threefourteen.
