Have you ever seen the inside of a water Tower? Updated 9/16/08.
This is the latest progress on the water tower under construction in Smithville, Missouri. This tower is located on the southern end of Smithville off of 169 Highway. When completed, the tower will hold 750,000 gallons of water. Wow!

Really neat to see the water tower going together!
Thanks! It is interesting. You can see the seams on the inside and outside of the tank.
Wow their really flying through that water tower construction thats alot of progress since the last time you posted. Look like they will be done well before the winter.
Mary, I saw one put together about 20 yrs ago back in the Buffalo area. It was really interesting, and after they finished and painted it, I remember passing it thinking, it seems it's been there forever.
Justin: I'm suprised at how quickly this is going up. We have had several days without any activity due to weather, etc. The tower is scheduled to be completed November 2008
Bob: I have seen a few others go up in our metro (Kansas City, Missouri) and didn't have any idea as to how many gallons of water they hold.
