McComb, MS: "Noon Tunes": The Pat Cornacchione Band at the Depot Pavilion

Pat Cornacchione on sax, with bass player.

Ready for some toe-tappin', finger snappin', hand clappin' music? Then come on down to the McComb Depot Pavilion any Friday in May or October at noon to have lunch and listen to the sweet sounds of the Pat Cornacchione Band! For three or four years now the band has played downtown to the delight of its listeners. Although sometimes dubbed a "jazz combo," the band is quite versatile in its offerings. You'll probably not hear the same song repeated from one Friday to the next (except for requests), as the band's wide repertoire includes not only jazz, but also blues and Latin tunes, among other genres. The Pike County Arts Council hosts the free hour-long event. (Pick up a sandwich with chips and a cookie for $5.00, and a drink for $1.00). The band also plays at weddings, ballroom dances, bar mitzvahs, and Mardi Gras and other events. For booking, contact Pat Cornacchione at 601-783-6070.
