Tate County MS Real Estate Market Report - January 2011
After seeing a slight increase in sales for December, Tate County experienced a sharp decline in both the volume of home sales as well as the average sales price for January.
There were only 5 home sales for the month of January with an average sales price of $104,380 and an average days on the market of 94. Here is the comparisons to last month and January of last year:

sales: 13 Avg $150,630 Avg DOM: 109
January 2010
sales: 10 Avg $129,240 Avg DOM: 163

Because there are so many homes for sale in Tate County right now and due to the very low sales volume, we have a 23 month supply of homes. Approximately 8% of the homes for sale in Tate County MS are foreclosures.
