Annual Free Tree Giveaway!

Attention Desoto County residents, it's time for trees! Snowden Grove Park is the site for this years tree giveaway. Each year for the last 30 years the Desoto County Soil and Conservation District has handed out tress free torea residents. The date Febuary 13 at Snowden Grove Park in Southaven. I have been in the past and I suggest you get there early. Reminds me of shopping after Thanksgiving with people in line about an hour before starting time. Along with the trees, experts will be on hand to explain how to plant and care for the different varieties that are available.
