Bozeman Going Green!

Bozeman is going green. At least the street lights are. The city will be replacing our

lighting with LED’s in January and February. They have budgeted $8,800 to make this happen, but expect they will be 80% more efficient, hoping to reduce the monthly $32,000 electric bill. (Wow, can you imagine budgeting that into your household budget?).

Residents should notice the change, the lights producer a whiter light and should be less harmful to the fantastic night skies we have.
