President Bush and the mortgage industry have agreed on a plan to freeze interest rates for up to five years on some of the two million homeowners who have, in the past few years, purchased homes with subprime loans.

The recent imposition of Transportation Impact Fees by Gallatin County Commissioners on the county's municipalities has raised the ire of officials of these municipalities, who met with County Commissioner, Bill Murdock, yesterday at Belgrade City Hall.
