Undivided Loyalty - Why Buyers Choose Licensed Independent Real Estate Agents

With so many Agencies (Brokerages) and their sales people representing Sellers in the real estate market, Buyers are demanding real representation. "I'll treat you fairly" is no longer an acceptable performance standard to many Buyers. The majority of today's Buyers want undivided loyalty, full disclosure, confidentiality and due diligence from their chosen Agency (Brokerage). Buyers want to be clients, not merely customers, of a real estate Agency (Brokerage). A customer expects to be serviced, but a client expects to be protected and represented.

Buyers cannot be forced to engage a licensee to represent them. Buyers have every right to be customers. Conversely Buyers have every right to be represented in single agency. And by the way, Buyers also have every right to say absolutely "no" to accepting double agency.

The fewer salespeople in a real estate Agency (Brokerage) , the less the chances of double agency situations. In an Agency (Brokerage) with many salespeople and many Seller and Buyer clients, the chances of double agency situations are numerous. A licensed individual, independent real estate Agent (Broker) presents the least risk of a double agency situation.
