1st Annual Apex Family Health Festival November 15th Apex, NC

On Saturday November 15^th, 2008 the WakeMed Healthplex, in conjunction with Lowe’s Foods, will hold its 1^st Annual Apex Family Health Festival!

This FREE event will feature a one mile Family Fun Walk through some of our beautiful Apex neighborhoods. No registration is necessary to participate in the walk. Donations will be accepted and will go to provide health care services to an underserved child in our community.

Events will take place throughout the morning including blood pressure screening, bone density screening, child safety seat checks, CPR training sessions and much more!

Located at the corner of Hwy 55 and Apex Peakway, WakeMed serves our community with state of the art Emergency Care facilities.

The Health Fair will run from 8AM to 1PM and kicks off with a breakfast with Twinkle, WakeMed's official mascot. As with everything Apex, this should be yet another wonderful, event filled, family friendly Apex event. Don't miss out! See you there!
