Oh BOY! It's Pro-Am tee time at Pebble Beach and this avid chipper has been enjoying the show. ( The links were designed by the way by two "amateur" golf course design architects, unlike Asheville's Walnut Cove Jack Nicklaus Signature Course which opened in April 2005. )

It is the first time in 10 years that we have seen Tiger play Pebble Beach in the National Pro-Am Tour. Today he birdied the 391-yard par-four first hole, but his play seems a little sporadic, so we will have to see how it all works out.

WALNUT COVE a Cliffs Community: Closer to home and bordered to the north by the Blue Ridge Parkway and to the west by the Pisgah National Forest here in Asheville's rolling hills is the master-planned, golf course community of Walnut Cove.
