Thanks a Ton!

Every year, at least 1,000 low income families in the Brevard, NC area turn to the Sharing House for help. In these tough economic times, those numbers will likely increase.

To help meet that need, our Keller Williams office holds an annual food drive called The Helping Harvest. Ingles Market donates the paper bags, and a local printer prints the fliers. The bags and fliers are distributed to neighborhoods by our agents. This past weekend, we returned to the neighborhoods and picked up hundreds of bags filled by the generous and giving people of Transylvania County. This year, we collected 2,334 pounds of food an other household items which were delivered to the Sharing House in time for Thanksgiving.
