Realtor Open House ~ Do You Attend Any To Show Your Support??

When was the last time you attended a Realtor's Open House to preview the listing of another agent's listing? Do you show your support for other agent's listings and preview them for your client's? How often do realtor's in your area have Realtor Open Houses? Has it become a thing of the past in your area?

We receive email's from other agent's to attend open houses and many times food and beverages are offered for those who attend. Do you feel you are being bribed with food? At times drawings for prizes, gift certificates and money are part of the perks for attending.

When we are available, we make a point of attending and the Realtor's who hold the open houses are extremely appreciative to those who attend. It is also a nice time to network with other agents.

We were able to attend a four condo open house in Crow Creek, a gated golf community in Calabash, North Carolina. We feel it is a nice gesture to the agents holding the open house for their clients to attend and show our support to them. Much to our delight we received a $50 gift certificate for attending the four condo open house on Tuesday.
