2010 Parade of Homes in Wake County

The 2010 Parade of Homes in Wake , Durham, and Orange Counties is well underway this year. The dates for the Parade of Homes in 2010 are:

  • October 2-3
  • October 8-10
  • October 15-17

Parade of Homes hours are 12pm-5pm daily

I was fortunate enough to enjoy the beautiful weather yesterday by visting some of the entries in the Northwest Cary area. I also just had to stop by the Hills of Rosemont in Durham to checkout Rex Bost's entry. Rex said at the show that this is the first Parade Entry he has had in six years. And, as always, Rex's entry was a Gold Parade Winner. I've been taking clients to the homes in the past several weeks but they were only in the framing stages when visiting.

Northwest Cary neighborhoods that were entered into this year's Parade include:

  • Cary Park
  • Copperleaf
  • Green Level Crossing Manors
  • Highcroft Village
  • Hilliard Forest
  • Hortons Creek
  • Stonewater
  • Village Square at Amberly
  • Weycroft

The Top Area, Regional, and National builders are being featured in the Parade. In the current real estate market the best of the best have been able to come up with creative designs and ideas to continue to thrive.

The Parade of Homes in the Triangle has been in existence since 1966 and is one of my favorite past times even though I'm an active Realtor. This year there are 188 Entries and plenty of opportunity to check-out some of this years' building trends.

I pulled together a sampling of the homes I visited. I hope you enjoy the mini-tour of the 2010 Parade of Homes in Cary!
