Olde Providence, Established SE Charlotte Neighborhood

Olde Providence is a beautiful neighborhood located in the heart of desirable South Charlotte. It is just three miles from SouthPark, a shorter distance to Arboretum Shopping Center, and 9 miles from uptown Charlotte with easy access to the city's best amenities. Colony Place is just to the south of the neighborhood, is one of Charlotte's newest and most upscale neighborhood shopping centers, providing all the conveniences plus restaurants and coffee shops in a comfortable, pedestrian-friendly village with an outdoor seating.

There are numerable recreational opportunities close at hand. Just to the north of Olde Providence is the Olde Providence Racquet Club. This is Charlotte's premier tennis club that was established over 40 years ago and is still very popular. Also, within the neighborhood of Olde Providence is Windyrush Country Club. These facilities include a club house, tennis courts and an Olympic-sized swimming pool plus kiddie pool, all in a relaxed family setting that is within walking distance for most residents.

Most of the homes in Olde Providence were built in the 60’s and 70’s when the standards of construction included all brick exteriors, hardwood floors throughout, crown moldings, masonry fireplaces and chimneys and ceramic tile baths.

Homes range in size from 1,600 to almost 3,000 square feet in styles that include ranches, two-stories, and split levels. There are a wide variety of floor plans and square footages available.
