Charlotte is going to the Dogs

PET PALOOZA is the Humane Society of Charlotte's annual dog walk and pet festival coming up on Saturday, May 30th (rain date June 6th). Our goal is to raise over $75,000 and we're currently over $52,000!

Join over 2,000 event participants who walk with teams of family, friends and co-workers in this special celebration of our four-legged friends! Event highlights include; a one-mile pet walk, vendor booths, refreshments, musical entertainment, a fido fashion show, a silent auction, entertainment & activities and fun for the entire family.

The event will be held this year on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Independence Park with a rain date of June 6, 2009. If we're using the rain date, the decision will be made by Wednesday, May 27th and all walkers and vendors will be notified via email. A rain date will only be used in the event of threatening/lighting conditions, not light rain.
