Stonehaven in East Charlotte

Stonehaven is a huge, well established neighborhood located in east Charlotte to the south and east of Sardis Road and Rama Road and extends over to McAlpine Creek. The subdivision was built during the 1960’s and 10970’s and the homes here reflect the craftsmanship prevalent during that era: brick exteriors, “ground up” construction, hardwood floors, and ceramic tile bathrooms.

This has been called “Grand Daddy” of southeast Charlotte’s neighborhoods because of its age, location, and size. Stonehaven provides a great deal of variety in its tree lined streets and in its solidly constructed vintage homes. The community amenities include club house, playground, pool, recreation area, tennis courts, and walking trails. SouthPark Mall and Cotwold Shopping Center are both minutes away for a full array of stores, restaurants, and services.

The homes in Stonehaven range in size from 1,200 square feet to 4,000 square feet of heated living area. Prices tend to range from the mid $100,000’s to the mid $300,000’s and include ranches, split levels and 2 story floorplans.
