One of the best things about Charlotte NC is its temperate climate. We have four distinct seasons, and most years, our temperature is moderate most of the time. Yes, we do have some sweltering summer months (June - August) and some fairly cold winters, but for the most part, Charlotte NC temperatures are quite manageable, and often quite delightful!

Don't say that to my son, however! When he was 8 years old (6 years ago) Santa brought him a whiz-bang sled that was sure to be the envy of the neighborhood. But what was Santa thinking? The poor kid got to use the sled for the first time this year (and he's now 14). Check him out catching some air to the left!

Today, with the balmy 72℉ weather, I saw friends playing tennis in my Providence Plantation neighborhood! You couldn't get a court at the neighborhood racquet and swim club - all 6 courts were booked all day! At Southpark Mall, I saw teenagers galore with tank tops and flip flops. At Providence Country Club, I saw golfers in shorts and short-sleeved shirts enjoying the scintillating weather and gorgeous Carolina blue skies!
