2011 Season of the Conover Farmers Market
starts on Saturday April 23rd
at their new location in the
Conover Post Office Parking Lot

The Conover Farmers Market provides Catawba Valley with only the best locally grown and produced products. A different approach to other markets; the Conover Farmers Market will focus on vendors providing products 'from farm to fork.' All vendors must be certified and approved by the Board of Directors.

Conover Farmers Market is a member of Foothills Fresh; a division of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Office.

The market accepts Farmers Market WIC and Senior vouchers for all fresh produce. May 2011 SNAP/EBTand debit/credit cards will be accepted as well.

Come early for beets, kale, lettuces, radishes, spinach, asparagus and spring onions.
Also cabbage, broccoli and chard, local greenhouse tomatoes and peppers. Quality breads, pies, cookies, breakfast pastries, fried pies, jam, jelly and local wine. Lean naturally-raised beef, fresh chicken, pork, sausage and free-range eggs.

Fresh flowers, hand crafted soaps, juried local crafts. Healthy perennial and annual plants.
