Denver, NC has a lot to offer our active senior citizens. The East Lincoln Community Center opens it's gymnasium up at 7:30am, Monday - Friday, for the seniors to walk around. On Monday's , Wednesday's, and Friday's there is also exercise classes that begin at 8:30 am. The doors close at 11:30am. But if you are more of a night-owl you can take dance class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00pm.
Lincoln County Senior Services offers quilting and knitting classes.
Quilting begins at 10:30 on Mondays and knitting is offered on Thursdays.
Bingo is offered on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30am.

If a little arts and crafts sounds like a relaxing past time, registration for the fall will begin soon. Bh Black Pottery
on 8890 Graham Point Lane will be holding the pottery classes on September 16, 23, and October 9. Classes begin at 10am and end at noon. This will be a hands-on class building with clay and creating two pieces of pottery. The cost of upcoming event is $20.00. You can register by calling 704-732-9053.
