Durham Performing Arts Center: SunTrust Broadway Series presents "Rent"
The first show in the SunTrust Broadway Series at the new Durham Performing Arts Center opens next week, January 20th, with the touring company production of "Rent". Starring two of the original Broadway performers of "Rent", the show is almost as highly anticipated as the Durham Performing Arts Center has been itself.
The production of "Rent" runs from January 20-25. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online here. There will also be lottery tickets available on the day of the show for $20.00.
After the production of "Rent", the remaining season includes the touring companies of "The Color Purple", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "Legally Blonde: The Musical".
