Looking for a great neighborhood to build a home near Raleigh, NC?
Turner Farms in Garner, NC is a very pretty community with a variety of meadow and wooded homesites.
There are plenty of tall trees for a more private feel.
The Turner Family originally owned 1200 acres in the area, with some deeds dating back to 1810.
In 1974, the Turner Farms community was first laid out, with a combination of tall, green trees, rolling pasture, and wooded areas.
Turner Farms has a wide variety of homes, from 1400 sq ft to over 4300 sq ft.
Homes are offered in the $200s to the low $500s.
The newest phase in the Turner Farms community is set to open in November 2008.
Lot sizes average .5 to 2.0 acres.
Community water is provided, and as in most communities with lots .5 acres or larger, septics are required.
The new phase offers a mixture of meadow and wooded lots, as in previous phases.
Turner Farms is located off Hwy 50, just past Lake Benson.
Directions:
From Raleigh, take Hwy 50 south. Just past Ten Ten Rd, turn left onto Turner Farms Rd. New phase is southeast of the main subdivision.
Turner Farms offers a community pool and tennis courts.
HOA fees are $350/year, or about $30/month.
Two lots are currently available in the existing phases - Lot #354 and #346. Asking prices are $70K and $75K.
