Happy Fourth of July From the Kirkwood Parade in Greensboro, NC
Every year on the fourth of July the Kirkwood neighborhood here in Greensboro, NC. It is a fun time to be had by all. Made up of the families and friends that live in the wonderful little bedroom community that is Kirkwood this parade
embodies to me all that America is. While I live just a couple streets over in Irving Park one of my many past clients invited my wife and I over for a little get together and to watch the Parade from their front yard. You see if you drive down the main streets of Kirkwood one common theme you may notice are the adirondack chairs in just about every yard. It is common in the many warm months we have here in Greensboro, North Carolina to see families out in the front yard conversing and waving to each other as they walk by. It is not uncommon anytime of the day to see someone walking their dog or maybe pushing a baby stroller and it just gives one the sense of warmth and it just feels like home. I have a number of home buyers that come to me and they have one main criteria that absolutely must be met "the home HAS to be in Kirkwood".
Well enough of that here are some pictures from todays festivities. Hope you enjoy them half as much as I did being there and taking them.
