Rezoning Alert for Harrisburg NC

If you live in or around Harrisburg NC, you very likely travel down Morehead Road on a regular basis (this is our connector between 29 and 49).

Today, you noticed a new sign on the property for sale on Morehead right before the Rocky River, rezoning notice. A timely call placed to the Harrisburg Town Hall will tell you that it's not really a rezoning notice-rather it's for a hearing to change the conditional use on the property.

A 17,000 square foot daycare facility is planned for that location. You heard me-17000 sqft-huge! And in case you're not quite sure how to envision that size-the Ruckus House daycare, located on Hwy 49 at Harrisburg Town Center, is 15000 sqft.

Whether you're for or against this enormous daycare center, if you want your voice to be heard, the hearing for the change in conditional use is on September 18th at Town Hall.
