Hickory Public Library is offering three free classes for adults on Saturday January 28, 2012 at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library. The instructor is computer expert Trisha Crutchfield, who has taught at Chapel Hill Public Library, UNC-Chapel Hill, and at NC Central University in addition to previous classes at Hickory Public Library.
Class sign up begins on January 13, 2012.
Introduction to E-readers and Digital Media: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Learn how to select the right e-reader for you and how to use resources such as NC Digital Library with e-readers and other devices. Participants will have the opportunity to examine various types of e-readers.
