Catawba Science Center Swamp Things

The Catawba Science Center is extending the run of Swamp Things: A Look at Life in a Southeastern Swamp through Labor Day, Sept. 7 due to popular demand.

Catawba Science Center will be open Labor Day September 7 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

. . . . so that visitors can have a final chance to see the exhibit's bobcat kitten, six-foot alligator, Burmese python and more.

"Live from the Swamp" public programs include:

Swamp Creatures Tuesdays, 4 p.m.
Join a swamp guide for an up-close visit with some of the animals in CSC's swamp, while learning about their behaviors and habitat.

Gator Feedings Thursdays, 4 p.m.
Learn what the alligator and other swamp animals eat during this exciting, live feeding. .

Swamp Life Saturdays, 11 a.m. and Sundays, 2 p.m.
Visit Swamp Things during the weekends and get a special look at the day's featured creature, and learn how it fits into swamp ecology.

Catawba Science Center
