The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame will open soon in Kannapolis near the North Carolina Research Campus. It will be located in the old Kannapolis jailhouse and will honor musicians, singer, songwriters and producers who have made contributions to American music and are from the state of North Carolina. Exhibits include Randy Travis, Andy Griffith, Ben Folds and Billy Scott and the Chairmen of the Board. The music hall of fame should open to the public by June 1.
