Day 82: Understand the world of sharks: Free at the New Hanover County Library-Main Branch in downtown Wilmington... 9/23/10 The program will explore the world of sharks. The session is for elementary school children and pre-teens. THose participating in this event will make a shark hat, hear shark stories and watch "The Great White Man Easting Shark." Registration is required, but there is no COST. Call 910-798-6300. Now if you want something for your preschooler....the aquarium (at 900 Loggerhead Road in Ft Fisher) is running a program on the same day for 3 to 5 year olds.
