Haywood County, NC - 2004-2009 Residential Real Estate Sales Comparison.

The numbers in the chart below are as of 09/18 (Friday), when we had 1,315 active residential listings [many overpriced] in Haywood County, at an average listing price of $351,577, on the market an average of 216 days already. Maggie Valley, a second-home market, had 308 active listings at an average listing price of $356,960, and average days on the market of 237 days. Waynesville had 615 homes on the market at an average listing price of $366,155, on the market at this point an average of 227 days.

So what is selling now? The average selling price of closed residential transactions for 2009 (again as of 09/18) is $206,829.
