As our beautiful fall leaves blow over the landscape, Christmas and winter lights are filling in some of the bare spots evident as our temperatures drop in our crisp, and beautiful, winter climate. The snow machines are adding to the natural snowfall on our tubing mountain, and soon the mountain will be filled with people enjoyin
g the thrill of the rapid rubber ride over the snow. And of course we have the Cataloochee Ski Area right up Fie Top Road, minutes from the tubing mountain. Perfect prelude to warming up by the fireplace!
Parades decorate our streets during this festive time of year in the beautiful mountain towns of Waynesville and Maggie Valley, enjoyed by young and old, visitors and locals alike.

Great stuff, we don't have snow in FL, actually my kids have never seen snow! Maybe I'll take them up there this year.
Hi Susie,
These pictures are refreshing. I don't miss the cold weather, but I miss how pretty the snow and frost can be.
