The Town of Morrisville is participating with Wake County and the Town of Cary in the collection of hazardous waste and electronics recycling on Saturday May 9th, 8am to 4pm at The Town of Cary Public Works facility, 400 James Jackson Avenue in Cary.

Examples of accepted household hazardous waste:

  • batteries
  • cooking oil
  • fire extinguishers
  • fluorescent light bulbs
  • herbicides
  • automobile fluids
  • kerosene
  • motor oil
  • paints
  • polishes
  • poisons
  • solvents/thinners

Examples of accepted electronices

  • Any corded electronic device
  • small appliances
  • video game players
  • keyboards/mice/printers
  • cords and cables
  • camcorders and cameras
  • microwaves
  • modems/monitors
  • typewriters
  • speakers
  • fax machines

Please NOTE: No household trash or recycables, medical waste, unknown materials, explosive or radioactive materials, or commercial waste is allowed.
