Pinehurst Course No. 6 was ranked 95 in the Top 100 Courses in North Carolina. The course opened in 1979, was renovated 2005 and reopened as a championship course. Renovations by Tom Fazio have increased shot values, developed all new putting greens and rebunkered the entire course - making it a strong addition to the championship golf set at Pinehurst. You'll find the terrain different here - rolling hills make for a test from the tee box. The back nine is one the most difficult anywhere. One thing rings true - it continues to be a favorite for those who love Fazio designs.

The 18-hole "#6" course at the Pinehurst Resort & Country Club #'s 6-7 facility in Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina features 7,092 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 73.2 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bermuda grass. Designed by George Fazio, ASGCA/Tom Fazio, ASGCA, the #6 golf course opened in 1979.
