Whether you're here on vacation or you're a local, if you like history, then you don't want to miss this tour! PINEHURST RESORT'S HISTORIC WALKING TOUR AND TEA is from10am to noon. Weather forecast looks PERFECT! You will learn about Pinehurst's history and also enjoy the traditions of classic high tea. $25/person. Space is limited, please call for reservations. (910) 235-8415. This tour is offered every second Friday of the month.

FRIDAY – SUNDAY | April 8^th-11^th
Sunrise Theatre in downtown Southern Pines presents the Oscar nominated movie ‘Barney’s Version’. This Drama/Comedy stars Paul Giamatti, Dustin Hoffman, Minnie Driver and Rosamund Pike! It’s a story of lifes ups & downs how everything that happens gets us to where we are today. I’m definitely making carving out some time to go see this one!!! Every Night at 7:30pm with and additional showing on Sunday at 2:30pm.

60^th Annual STONEYBROOK STEEPLECHASE!!! Gates open at 9:30am and the first race is at 1pm! This is one of the most awaited for events in all of Moore County!

SPRING MATINEE RACES at the PINEHURST HARNESS TRACK. Late morning – Tailgating with Opening Ceremonies at 1PM. Races begin at 1:30PM. Harness Races with trotters and pacers. Admission fee. ‘An Evening with NICHOLAS SPARKS’, the bestselling author, at Owens Auditorium/Sandhills Community College Campus. 7:30pm Tickets are required, so call for availability. I’m looking forward to this one!!!
