Custom Homes on wooded acreage remain in demand, and Cattail Creek has a popular combination - affordable homes with custom designs on private 1-2 acre lots |
Stanton Homes is pleased to announce that Cattail Creek is now the number five top community in all of Chatham County on a total unit sales basis, according to first quarter real estate results. Sales are monitored for all subdivisions and neighborhoods in Chatham County, for both new homes and resales. Cattail Creek offers new homes on acreage in Chatham County.

"We have been seeing even stronger interest in the community this year than last, so these results verify the on-the-street sentiment we've been experiencing," said Stan Williams, CEO of Stanton Homes. "Homebuyers are looking for value, and Cattail Creek is truly a find. Lots and lots of trees, beautiful, spacious living and that countryside feeling you just can't get anywhere else - it's often just what people are looking for in a home where they can truly relax and feel at peace - without paying a hefty price."
Cattail Creek offers new custom homes in the $250s to $350s on heavily wooded of 1.4 acres and up. Several custom builders offer homes in the neighborhood, which is 20 minutes from Chapel Hill and 10 minutes from Pittsboro.
"Stanton Homes is proud of the homes we build in this development," said Williams. "As in all of our custom homes, you'll find extensive tile in kitchens, breakfast rooms, laundry rooms, and bathrooms. And we personalize each home further with our signature archways, barrel vault ceilings, and extensive trim packages."
There are only two Stanton Homes models left at this time that are nearly ready for occupancy in Cattail Creek, but a third is at the foundation stage and a fourth is just breaking ground.

"There's still some availability remaining within the eighteen lots which were just released, for home owners who want to choose their own house plan" said Williams. "At Cattail Creek, you won't own a home just like the one next door - each home is chosen from thousands of plans - including your own."
Chatham County is a destination of choice for homebuyers whose life styles incorporate interests from the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill cultures to Jordan Lake, the Haw River, The Preserve golf course, and the Silk Hope winery.
"The value at Cattail Creek really stands out in this environment," said Williams. "New home inventory in Chatham County is up only four percent over this time last year - and that additional inventory is centered in price points up to three times higher than our homes - in developments where houses cost more than
$600K."
