Veterans History Project - Chapel Hill Pittsboro NC National Veterans History Archival Institute - Free Interviews, Share Your Service RecordsIn 1973 a tragic fire destroyed millions of service records of our service men and women.

You may have the only existing record of their service included with your records, travel orders, separation documents and other listings.

Please share your records with us and help restore the service history of those whose records were lost - as well as share your stories in an interview.

Wartime and peacetime veterans welcome, including Merchant Marines.
