It is kind of a slow week for Cabarrus County's high school football teams with Central Cabarrus, Cox Mill and Mount Pleasant all open. There are several other games going on if you are looking for something to do Friday night. Concord plays Lexington at home at 7:30. All other teams have away games this week. A.L. Brown will play at South Rowan at 7:30, Hickory Ridge will play at Marvin Ridge at 7:30, Jay M. Robinson plays at Cuthbertson at 7:00 and Northwest Cabarrus will play at West Rowan at 7:30. Check out the schools website if you are looking for directions to an away game. Many schools post directions to athletic events on their website.
Team Honeycutt is a mother/daughter team formed in 1993 and has grown from 2 to 12 members and has the reputation as the top team in Cabarrus County located just outside of Charlotte, NC.
