Black Lab VS. Pillow

Black Labs are smart dogs...most of the time well-trained Black Labs are well behaved. MOST of the time Jazz, our black lab, is smarter than the average 2 year old!

Jazz waits for the command "load" before she enters or exits the house or the car. She waits for the command "ok" before she inhales her food. She will "stay" until released. She will "hunt it up" when you throw a fetch stick. She knows hand signals to to left, right, stop, sit. She knows whistle signals for all that stuff too!

My husband spent many hours training Jazz to be a "hunting" dog and she doesn't forget! I am thrilled & amazed because I've never had such a smart dog! (If and when she passes on I PROMISE I WILL NOT be friends with the next dog!!)

BUT - then there are times when some teenaged hormone takes over! AND it happened with an old pillow recently!

Black Labs are still better than real live 2 or 3 year old children (been there, done that!)

Got to keep a sense of humor!

Jazz, the black lab, has many health problems: Thyroid, Growth on her leg, Growth in her mouth, hip problems ! A couple of her siblings are already gone from cancer problems. The owners of the mother did not check history. If you are considering a "pure-bred" please be sure to do a LOT of research on the parent dogs.
