Hampstead honors the arts with its celebrate Hampstead festival: the people of pender county are featured during Spring Fest, and the NC Blueberry Festival offers great fun while commemorating the tasty berry.
Events as follows: Date for the Hampstead Festival are Sat. June 5th. There will be vendors and crafts there to help raise money for the schools. One of the reason for this festival is to ensure that children are exposed to art, writing,drama and music.
Blueberry Festival will be held on June 19th. Blueberries are abundant in Pender county, in fact we rank 2nd in the state. In addition, there will be entertainment, arts, crafts and good food. Afterwards, take a walk on our beautiful beach of Topsail Island. Sit back, relax, bury your toes in the sand and enjoy.
