Where will your kids go to school if you buy that house in Union County?

Your Union County real estate team has been working with a new buyer this week that has kids in Elementary School already. They do not have much criteria for the perfect home other than school, bedrooms, baths and price range. In looking through our local MLS for homes that match their description it became painfully obvious that many agents now are wanting to protect themselves way too much and are not listing the schools in their listing.

I understand that Union County Public Schools has done a little redistricting lately but it makes it hard to pull a search as the agent but also hard on the buyer too. I decided that the buyers of Union County homes needed to be aware of the UCPS tool that allows you to put in a potential address and find out which schools your children will attend this year.

My new buyer client had 25 homes come up on the initial search. After going through and entering addresses for 15 of those homes, I am narrowed to 8. Wouldn't it have been easier on everyone to just have put the schools in the MLS to begin with?
