My husband and I admittedly claim this as one of our all time favorite movies.. and this is our favorite scene... (note: no relation to us, but LOL because he is a Connors! )

Phil: Hi, thanks for watching.
Ned: Hey now, don't you tell me you don't remember me 'cause I sure as heckfire remember you.
Phil: Not a chance.
Ned: Ned... Ryerson. "Needlenose Ned"? "Ned the Head"? C'mon, buddy. Case Western High. I did the whistling belly-button trick at the high school talent show? Bing. Ned Ryerson, got the shingles real bad senior year, almost didn't graduate? Bing, again. Ned Ryerson, I dated your sister Mary Pat a couple of times until you told me not to anymore? Well?
Phil: Ned Ryerson?
Ned: BING!
Phil: Bing. So did you turn pro with that whole belly-button thing Ned or...

With that all divulged, I want to extend a welcome to Spring as Punxsutawney Phili ndicated this morning no shadow, no more winter!

The Crystal Coastreally doesn't drag out long winters although we've had a few visits of snow ( lasting only day or two ) this winter. The springtime at the coast offers kite weather but sunbathers will certainly get their dose of sunshine. Summer and Fall are also well proportioned and with the ocean breeze it is common to see folks in light sweathers after dark.

I want to personally invite you to Carteret County, the place I call home...
