Summer Reading Clubs at New Hanover County Public Libraries

One of my fondest Summer memories is sitting in the backyard under a tree reading a book. I might be hanging out with the Bobbsey Twins, helping Nancy solve a mystery or having an adventure with Huck & Tom. Books were my best friends during the Summer months, they were a chance to have adventures and expand my world.

When you read you add magic to your world and the Summer Reading Club at New Hanover County Public Libriaries is a great way to help your kids hang out with new friends this Summer. Friends like, Fancy Nancy, The Magic Treehouse gang, Halt & Will of the Rangers Apprentice series, Phillipa Fisher and many more. Not to mention -- good reading habits will help your child excel in school!

There are 3 levels; under 5, 5 ~ 12 and grades 6 ~ 12. Kids will have a chance to read new books, write reviews and win prizes. Registration begins on Friday June 10 and you can do it online!
