So Will Just Any Agent Do?

Do you really know how your home is being marketed and presented for sale? Do you know how much exposure your home is getting in the market place? I was recently asked by a buyer client of mine for my opinion on the marketing of their other homes that are listed for sale. I will admit a couple of them (their are several) took awhile for me to find. Mainly because they are not very visible on line. Unlike most of us some homes are not on the traditional third party sites like Trulia, Zillow.

One home that they are selling just to "get rid of it" is a very nice home in a affluent neighborhood discount priced at just over $500,000. They decided to have the former listing agent help them sell it. I looked all over and there is only ONE picture of the home. It is a picture of the front of the home from a good bit of distance. This brokerage is NOT a discount brokerage either. Oh and that is not the least expensive by far.Will Just Any Agent Do?

Another home is a condominium in a college town and it has four pictures no real description and
no attention online either. It is a top of the line unit with all new kitchen, stainless steel appliances, and so much more. It is with a discount brokerage BUT they do not have a discounted commission!



I am now putting together a comprehensive plan for selling all of their real estate across the southeast. We will be using Realtors® that I know and approve of. These agents have proven track records and know how to market and sell a home even in the worst markets. I am just sorry that they have been mislead for so long. One home has been listed for 1062 days!
