Money Doesn't Grow on Trees & Candy Doesn't Fall From the Sky!

Okay, Money doesn't grow on trees..... I can't argue that one. Of course, The owners of the local Apple Orchard or the Orange Grove may feel differently, but without a lot of time, care & energy.... NOTHING.

Candy doesn't normally fall from the sky either, but it sure does during the Carolina Kite Festival! Next weekend, October 29th and 30th, 2011 Candy will be falling from the sky in Atlantic Beach during the Candy Drop! So, the kids can run around and collect the treats as they fall over the beach, and you can kick back in your beach chair and enjoy the laughter that fills the air. Not to mention, the kites (from around the world) that will be soaring through the sky, kite building workshops and much, much more.

The 24th Annual Carolina Kite Fest will be held at the Atlantic Beach Circle, October 29-30th, 2011 from 10 am - 4 pm both days. On Saturday, there is also a Night Fly at 6 pm. This wonderful event would not be possible without the wonderful folks from Kites Unlimited, so make sure to say thank you if you see them, and stop by their fabulous shop to buy your own kite!
