Johnston County Schools Report Card

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 required that certain information is shared with parents each year. As a parent, I received the following information in my child's folder and thought you would be interested in the 2006-2007 North Carolina School Report Card.

*Corinth Holder Elementary and Selma Elementary have made great progress in their scores over the last year.

*100% of Johnston County School teachers are deemed "high quality professional development" status in each of the past two years.

*The average number of students enrolled in a "typical K-8 classroom" are as follows:

When it comes to the classroom, 97% of Elementary teachers are fully licensed w/clear initial or clear continuing licenses (not lateral entry, alternative or emergency licensed teachers), 90% for Middle School and 88% for High School.
