21 Miles of Connector Roadway in the Works

A big new construction project is due to begin in the next few years to ease traffic pains along the roadway from US 74 at I-485 in eastern Mecklenburg County to US 74 Union County by Marshville. Over 21 miles of roadway will be constructed over a period of several years--with the conclusion of the project planned for 2013. So if you are already feeling the pain--help is on it's way.
