I love Carteret County in the Fall!

Fall doesn't "technically" start until mid September but I tend to gauge my fall by the cooler evenings and the change of scenery. Along the Crystal Coast of NC you will find the blooms of Crepe Myrtles and fragrant jasmines. Migratory birds from the north are finding their way to our coast and tourists are realizing the fall months in Carteret County offer a variety in fun activities!

Stroll the beaches, collect shells or fly a kite. Enjoy surf fishing, pier fishing or take a day cruise from one of the waterfront locations ( Morehead andBeaufort).

Browse the antique shops and art galleries. Golf or play tennis at one of the many public courses. Do nothing, and enjoy it!

Lastly- you will want to taste celisious seafood harvested by our local commercial fishermen:
