Finding Thanks At Thanksgiving

I know its the time of year but I showed a home to a special couple on the weekend and I wanted to share my story.

Especially in this world we live in where we worry about not being able to afford THINGS that we don't really need and for paying for things that we NEVER needed but wanted.

I showed one of our listings to a couple where the wife had suffered a setback and was under daily care by a caregiver as well as tremendous attention by her husband.

They were living 1 hr away form his workplace and wanted to be more central to his work so he could be home sooner and it would be less costly.

It didn't dawn on me until later that night when I conveyed the story to my wife,the level of sacrifice this man had made for the care and attention of his wife.

It pushed my anxiety regarding the current economic conditions and world problems to the level where they should be and my emotions and thoughts rose to where they should be all the time and that is to be thankful for what we have in life,and not just at Thanksgiving ,but every day.

Think of the man sacrificing his entire day to work,care and evolve his life around his wife who he married "For Sickness and in Health"
