First of all...HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Here at Exit Mountain Realty we are enjoying the holidays and a very busy season indeed.

I have seen a drop in showings of our listings, however that is expected this time of year. To bring in more buyers this time of year we are advertising more than ever on-line. One of the best on-line places to advertise a home is on www.craigslist.org

There is lots of speculation about the local economy. I have heard that local retailers did well on ‘Black Friday'. We know that if we maintain a strong local economy that we will continue to be a destination place and that home values will remain strong.

Many of the buyers that I am working with have been waiting for lower prices and interest rates. The rates have gone down this past week and may even drop more. I am advising buyers to buy now...no guarantees that rates will drop and prices are great.

Our office has twelve scheduled closings this month, a new record! Business is picking up for Exit Realty.
