We could not be more proud of our Keller Stellar Spellers! On February 26th the Moore County Literacy Council held their 5th annual spelling bee in front of a record crowd of 700 fans! Representing Keller Williams Realty of Pinehurst were Pat Phillips, Kay Bullard and Sharon Hyman. Not only did they make it to the third round, they won the prize for "Best Costume", wearing sequined caps, antennae, star-shaped sunglasses and a lot of attitude...May I present the "Fire Ants"! They introduced themselves as "Kella", "Stella" and "Miss Spella".
What a wild night with the "Spirit" award going once again to the Penick Home...average age probably 75. The winners of the Bee was the "Printer's Devils".....spelling the word amanuensis. They are masters of the printed word...our local newspaper, The Pilot.
Our firm became a Keller Williams franchise this past December and last month won the Chamber of Commerce's Entrepreneur Business of 2008. I believe we are on a roll.....
